Indigenous Peoples Organizations (IPOs) and Partnerships with the World Bank

The World Bank has been working with quite a few Indigenous Peoples Organizations as partners in development on a wide variety of projects and initiatives. Sometimes this collaboration has taken the form of formal or semi-official partnerships, while other times individual projects have incorporated ties to and support for the organizations which the Indigenous Peoples themselves have set up. Many other such IPOs exist, however, and we encourage connections to be made between IPOs, Bank staff, and others interested in the worldwide development of Indigenous Peoples.
