Operational Policies

The Bank's Operational Policies (OPs) guide all the operations of the World Bank. This guidance is collected in the Bank's Operational Manual, which is maintained by the Bank's Operations Policy and Country Services Vice Presidency (OPCS).

These policies are based on the World Bank's Articles of Agreement, its general conditions, and on specific polices approved by the Bank's Board.

The Operational Manual also contains requirements and guidance on the implementation of policies and on Bank Procedures.
