Environment in the Regions

The World Bank's Environment Family addresses environmental issues in more than 100 developing countries.

Our work spans across the six regions in which the Bank is organized -- East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, and within various development sectors, to address a broad range of environmental challenges.

Most of our direct interventions are carried out through regional operations and we invite you to visit each region, located on the left menu, to learn more about specific projects, activities, and lessons learnt from previous work.
